How does it work?
Profhilo is a 45 minute treatment and involves five injections to the area being treated. This is repeated after four weeks.
It is the ideal treatment for the face, neck, décolletage, hands and upper arms, and lasts 6 months, after which time it is naturally and safely metabolised by your system.

Profhilo is a twice-yearly treatment made up of hyaluronic acid in its purest form to nourish dermal cells and restore firmness to the skin. After your treatment
The beauty of Profhilo is there is no downtime and you can go about your normal daily activities as usual. In terms of aftercare post treatment, the following should be adhered to:
- If you experience any tenderness or redness around the injection site this is completely normal and will subside within a few days. A cold pack can be used on any swelling or redness.
- Do not massage or manipulate the treated area.
- Avoid any further cosmetic procedures for two days after treatment.
- Avoid wearling make-up for 12 hours post treatment.
- Avoid extreme temperatures for a minimum of 7 days after treatment (no saunas, sun beds or sun exposure).
- Apply a SPF30+ sunscreen.
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
- Avoid swimming for 48 hours.
- Avoid alcohol for 24 hours after treatment.
- Stay hydrated.

My skin is smooth, glowing
I don't normally write reviews but after having just had their new Profhilo treatment and what happened yesterday, I felt the urge to share this wonder treatment with all who Google it! Profhilo is a two-step treatment where you have 5 teeny injections of hyaluronic acid on each side of your face each time. It didn't hurt and didn't leave any marks. The idea is that instead of applying face creams (many of which contain hyaluronic acid) on top of your skin, this is placed directly under the skin. It's a bit like moisturising from the inside out. (I still apply face cream anyway). The result for me has been amazing. I have quite sun damaged skin (too much sun in my teens) with open pores and have noticed that as i am getting older, it's looking a bit 'dull' too. Even after less than a week after my first round of Profhilo I started noticing a difference... Last week I underwent round two and already it is like Aspire have given me a time machine (literally)! My skin is smooth, glowing (no pores or dullness) and the best bit? I got asked for ID buying Prosecco in Sainsbury's yesterday - (I’m in my 40s!!!). That has made my year. Thank you Aspire!
