Dermaroller is a procedure that uses a refined micro-needling technique to stimulate the skin to regenerate and repair itself. The process causes the skin surface to tighten and stimulates the production of callagen and elastin to create smoother, younger looking skin.
The process causes the skin surface to tighten and stimulates the production of collagen and elastin to create smoother, more even-toned, younger looking skin.
There are three variants of this treatment device that are used for specific puposes; Dermaroller, Electro Derma Stamp and Dermastamp. Recommended by Dermatologists worldwide, this treatment is also hugely effective in reversing the effects of sun damage, tightening open or enlarged pores and gives excellent results in the reduction of acne scarring and stretch marks.

EDS Rejuvenate is a gold award winning skin-needling treatment. Clinically proven to reduce the appearance of scarring and wrinkles to reveal younger, smoother and tigher skin.
What is the difference between Dermaroller and Electro Derma Stamp (EDS) and Dermastamp?
Dermaroller has a larger head and is used to treat larger areas of the face and body. It is applied using rolling motion across the skin to create hundreds of micro-punctures that stimulate the body's own healing process to regenerate the skin from within.
EDS is an electically powered device with a smaller head and contains a chamber to take specific mesotherapy solutions such as firming and lifting agents or skin hydrating agents to enhance the overall results.
Dermastamp is a very small version of the roller that is used specifically to treat scarring as it can be highly targetted to a specific area.
All three treatments are hugely effective in reversing the effects of sun damage, tightening open or enlarged pores and gives excellent results in the reduction of acne scarring and stretch marks.

What should I expect from this treatment?
By producing hundreds of micro-medical needle punctures to the surface of the skin, Dermaroller stimulates the skin’s own collagen and elastin production and tighten the skin surface as part of the skin’s natural healing process.
Is it safe?
By utilising the skin’s own natural healing response, this is a very safe procedure that gives long lasting enhancement to your skin’s texture. Because it’s a minimally invasive treatment Dermaroller, EDS and Dermastamp treatments are safe and carry minimal ‘down time’. For your comfort, a topical anaesthetic cream is applied approximately 30 minutes prior to your treatment and the procedure will take approximately 30 minutes to treat the face with additional time for other areas such as the neck, décolleté and backs of hands.
Immediately after treatment the skin will be pink, as if you have been sitting in the sun but this will resolve overnight and is easily disguised with makeup.

The procedure
The treatment is comfortable to have, and comfort can be enhanced by your practioner using a topical anesthetic beforehand. The eDermastamp will be used to produce thousands of micro-medical needle columns in the skin. A serum will then be applied to help the handpiece glide onto your skin. The treatment can take around 60 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated.
After the treatment your skin will feel warmer and tighter than usual, and will appear as though you have moderate sunburn. A post-procedure product may be applied by your practioner to assist your skin's recovery. Your practioner will then suggest a course of EDS Rejuvenate treatments to help your condition. Typically 3 treatments, spread 6 weeks apart.
Pre and post treatment advice
You should avoid potentially irritating skincare at least 3 days before your treatment. We then recommend avoiding intense UV and artifical exposure for at least 2 weeks after your treatment. You should use a high level broad spectrum UVB/UVA sun protectant everyday in the 2 weeks after your treatment too. Once the redness has cleared, it is important to use an effective anti-ageing skincare regime to help maintain the results.
The results
After the procedure you should expect to see a significant improvement to your skin's texture and tone. However the results can take up to 3 months to show, but the results you see over time are natural and long lasting!
