You will meet with your medically-qualified dermal filler expert who will tell you all about dermal filler treatments, including how they work, the process and benefits. You will explore treatment options and discuss the results that you could achieve.
When you come in for treatment, your face will be thoroughly cleansed and make up removed.
Photos will be taken prior to treatment so that we can compare these with your results. The actual treatment involves a series of micro-injections in the area where the skin needs volume added. Photos will be taken immediately after treatment. Your medical practitioner will then go through your post-treatment after-care.
Stay hydrated to help reduce swelling. You can also apply a cold compress to help with any swelling. Avoid strenuous exercise, hot baths/showers and saunas for 24 – 48 hours post treatment. Avoid alcohol for 24 hours as this can increase the appearance of any bruising. Avoid touching/rubbing the face and do not apply make-up for 24 hours. Do not have any facial treatments for two weeks post treatment.
