Aspire Goes to India
A team, made up of some Reading chaps, has taken themselves off to India for a few weeks to undertake the India's Cup rally from Chennai, India's 'motor city' on the eastern coast all the way to Goa, the region's party capital on its western shores.
They will be driving classic Hindustan taxis, declared the best taxi in the world by Richard Hammond, and travelling 2389 km (1484 miles).
And, they’re doing it all in aid of the International Refugee Trust. The team has set themselves a target of raising £30,000, which will all go to the Step Up project the IRT runs in Uganda, to enable families living in poverty to live sustainably.
So what on earth has Aspire got to do with all this? Well, we’re showing our support of the team and their fundraising efforts by providing them with car stickers to adorn their classic cars for the duration of the trip. With the message Aspire to be the best version of you, we want the car stickers to inspire the team on their journey.
