Essential to ensure patients do not have an allergic reaction to the hypo allergenic pigment or anesthetic. This is offered free of charge and only takes a few moments.
A revolutionary process whereby hypo allergenic pigments are inserted into the dermal layer of the skin with an ultra-thin needle to enhance brows, eyes and lips. This pigment will, after a healing process, stay smudge-free in the skin for a number of years - breaking down and fading over time, dependent on patient age and skin type. In addition to boosting self-confidence, micro pigmentation can aid an active lifestyle and increase freedom by saving time on makeup application. It is perfect for those with allergies to usual make up or sensitive eyes. A top up is recommended every 6-12 months to keep the colour looking fresh.

Frequently asked questions
How many treatments will I need?
Two appointments, the second one should be between 4-6 weeks later and no more than three months after the initial appointment.
How long will it last?
Permanent make up will always be present but the intensity fades over time depending on your age and natural cell renewal, immune system, skin type and UV exposure.
Will it hurt?
Due to the latest computer controlled technology used and the application of topical anesthetic, the treatment is not pain free but it makes feel prickly or scratchy.
Is it safe?
Yes. Both premises and practitioner must be licensed by the council who check standards. The machine is state of the art digital technology that is certified for medical use. The products are hypo-allergenic. A new sterile needle is used for each treatment.
Is it the same as a tattoo?
The principle is similar as pigment is placed in the skin, but the equipment, pigments and techniques are completely different.
How long does it take?
About an hour and a half. You will be lying down and relaxing, music is optional.
What will it look like afterwards?
Initially it will look darker but this will fade over a 7 days by approximately 40%. You can return to work straight afterwards. Due to the natural cell renewal process, the final result will be visible after 3-5 weeks.
What are the risks?
If proper hygiene and sterilisation guidelines are followed, micro pigmentation should be very safe with few risks.
Who can have the treatment?
- Anyone over 18 years old and in good health.
- Those prone to keloid or hypertrophic scarring should seek medical advice first.
- Pregnant or breastfeeding ladies are not suitable and should wait until later.
- Insulin dependent diabetics are contra-indicated for this treatment.
